Joe 2.0 - "Christmas Magic"
With Special Guests Robin Pluer, Chris Hanson, Lynda Lee & Tim Rebers!
The World’s Original Rockestra is trading in its usual setlist for sleigh bells. Joe 2.0 — the electrified string quartet (two violins, viola, cello) plus drums that’s spent over a decade proving a string section can rock as hard as any guitar — brings its one-of-a-kind sound to The Bend for a holiday night unlike anything else on the calendar this December.
Fronting the band: Xeno, original lead singer of Cheap Trick, whose voice has powered Joe 2.0’s genre-blurring take on everything from Led Zeppelin to the Black Keys since the group’s founding by Milwaukee violinist Joseph Ketchum in 2011.
This year, they’re not doing it alone. Christmas Magic welcomes four of Milwaukee’s most beloved musicians to the stage:
Robin Pluer, a multi-time WAMI Award winner and Shepherd Express “Best Female Vocalist,” known citywide for the sultry French chansons she’s brought to Bastille Days for over 25 years.
Chris Hanson, the bandleader and composer behind Milwaukee’s go-to jazz, swing, and rockabilly outfit.
Lynda Lee, Milwaukee-based vocalist and driving force behind the band Fire & Ice. Known for her powerful voice and engaging stage presence, she performs across rock, jazz, pop, and soul, bringing energy and emotion to every performance.
Tim Rebers, Milwaukee-based versatile singer, actor, composer, arranger, conductor, director, and music educator, and has appeared with organizations including Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Florentine Opera, Brew City Opera, and First Stage.
It’s rock band meets orchestra meets Milwaukee’s own holiday songbook — one night only, in a 1929 theater built for exactly this kind of magic.

The Bend Theater
Built in 1929, The Bend Theater was originally built as a Vaudeville theater in West Bend. Over the decades, the theater underwent many changes but always retained its rich history and iconic “West Bend” blade sign.
In 2020, the Theater was restored to its original beauty by a nonprofit group called Historic West Bend Theater, Inc. These efforts landed The Bend Theater a designation on the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
The Bend Theater is now reopened to serve West Bend and the greater Milwaukee region with arts opportunities, music, theater, comedy, movies and an experience unlike any other.
